Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with project leadership responsibilities to define and manage cloud-related projects in close collaboration with IT and digital stakeholders. Join our innovative team and help us build and maintain cutting-edge cloud infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructures across AWS, GCP, and Azure platforms.
• Collaborate with development teams to facilitate the deployment of applications and services.
• Oversee managed service providers to ensure optimal operation.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud infrastructures.
• Develop and implement automation to enhance the efficiency of cloud environments.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Cloud Computing and DevOps.
• Set up and manage Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins, CircleCI, and TravisCI.
• Implement containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.

Requirements:

• Profound knowledge of security best practices and implementation of security solutions.
• Strong understanding of network protocols and architectures.
• Proficiency with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus and Elasticsearch.
• Ability to implement and manage cloud migration strategies.
• Train teams on best practices for migrating to and operating in cloud environments.
• Strategic vision combined with an operational approach in a mid-sized organization.
• Work cross-functionally with the IT Infrastructures & Operations team, digital team, and various providers and suppliers.
• Business Travel: This position requires travel.

Ideal Candidate:

• Advanced degree (Master’s level) in Engineering or a related field from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, including projects like Move to Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud migrations.
• Expertise in AWS environments with strong skills in Google Cloud Platform and Azure.
• Mastery of automation and scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as GitLabCI, Jenkins, CircleCI, or TravisCI.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Good knowledge of security practices and experience in implementing security tools.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Dynamic, motivated, pragmatic, with a strong team spirit.
• Ability to tailor communication to the technical understanding of different stakeholders, both in French and English.
• Experience with On-Premise infrastructures is a plus.
